The Clinical Herbalist
Herbal medicine here isn’t about crystals and wishful thinking; it’s about plants, science, and a healthy dose of scepticism. I’m a student medical herbalist, currently buried in textbooks and assignments, but will soon be unleashed to run my own clinic and sell herbal remedies.
At The Herbal Medic, I dig into the chemistry, clinical use, and responsible use of medicinal plants so natural healthcare is more accessible and less woo-woo. I want people to feel confident taking ownership of their health and using remedies that their body can actually do something with.
If you fancy being nosy about what I’ve been studying, I’ll be adding more and more over time so others can learn practical, holistic ways to live a bit healthier.
Field Medicine
This is the Medic side of The Herbal Medic: what I’m up to when things are a bit more “oh, sh*t” than oolong. I’m refreshing my pre-hospital and field/event medicine skills through accredited emergency care programmes: mud, stretchers, tears, and doing something useful when there’s no nice, well-lit treatment room in sight.
It’s where I will shamelessly shovel in photos of any pre-hospital and event work to build a sort of portfolio.
