Mint & Elderflower Mojito

Cool, crisp, and just a little wild, this herbal twist on the classic mojito blends fresh mint with the soft floral notes of elderflower. It’s like a walk through a summer meadow… with a cheeky kick. Refreshing, uplifting, and dangerously easy to drink.

Flavour Profile: Refreshing, cool, and floral
Featured Herbs: Mentha x piperita (Peppermint) and Sambucus nigra (Elderflower)

Alcoholic Version

Makes approximately. 180–220ml, depending on how much soda you add.

Served in a tall glass (highball or Collins) over crushed ice.

Ingredients

  • 40ml white rum

  • 20ml elderflower liqueur (e.g., St-Germain)

  • Juice of half a lime

  • Handful of mint leaves (peppermint if possible)

  • 1 tsp sugar or elderflower cordial

  • Soda water

Method

  1. Muddle mint, sugar, and lime juice in a glass.

  2. Add rum and elderflower liqueur. Stir.

  3. Fill with crushed ice and top with soda.

  4. Garnish with a mint sprig and elderflowers (if available).

Non-Alcoholic Version

Makes around 150–200ml, depending on soda/pressé ratio and ice.
Also served in a tall glass with plenty of mint and crushed ice.

  • 100ml sparkling elderflower pressé or cordial + soda

  • Juice of half a lime

  • A handful of mint leaves

  • Ice

Method

Same muddling process, then top with elderflower pressé and soda.
